Lead-off man Chris Taylor drove in four runs. Behind him, Javier Baez added two more. And the Pennsylvania Marauders advanced to the Championship with a 7-1 win in Kansas City.
Both Buccos would homer in the later innings. But early on, they were just as much of a nuisance -- reaching base in the first and second innings. Baez would homer in the fourth. Taylor would add his in the ninth, putting the final out of reach.
For the T-Bones, there wasn't much to talk about. Zack Wheeler held Kansas City to just five hits.
It was a heck of a run for the Steaks -- a team predicted to finish near the bottom of the standings.
Pennsylvania will now travel to British Columbia in the hopes of preventing a third straight title by the Nanooks. The series will start on Sunday.
